Use experiment

Switches this page to another experiment key (it must be running in the dashboard, otherwise you see the default page). You stay the same visitor, so you get your own variant for that experiment and keep it on every reload.

Become a new visitor

Forgets your visitor id and reloads, as if someone new opened the page. The new visitor is assigned a variant by the experiment's traffic split, so it may differ from yours. Try it a few times to see each variant.

How it shows in results: each visitor who sees a variant adds 1 to that variant's Traffic, and clicking Continue adds 1 to its Conversions. Each is counted once per visitor, so reloading or clicking again doesn't inflate the numbers: become a new visitor instead. Results update in the dashboard within a few seconds.
